The blue piece sits on top of a ring of pinks, so it lifts on its own. Drop it into the ring that is already three quarters blue and that ring is finished, leaving a clean ring of pinks behind.

Yes. Every color also carries its own symbol, so pieces can be matched by shape as well as by hue. Sound, haptics and a reduced-motion option live in Settings.
You earn coins by playing, and you spend them in the Colors screen to unlock new color palettes for the board.
