Playing

How does a move work?

Tap a ring's outlined top group to lift it, then tap a matching or empty ring to drop it. Matching pieces that sit together lift as one group. Four matching pieces complete a ring, and a level is finished when every occupied ring is complete.

I made a mistake

Undo is free and always available. There is no cost, no cooldown and no limit, so trying a move to see what happens is a perfectly good strategy.

Is there a timer?

Not in the puzzles. Pause is in the upper right during play, and progress is saved on your device, so you can stop mid-level and pick it back up.

The board is stuck

Undo back to a branch point and try a different order. Because puzzles are untimed and undo is free, no board is ever truly lost.

Arcade

How do I control it?

Rotate the ring to catch matching colors and shrink away from the spikes to keep your streak alive. The first time you open arcade the gestures are shown on screen.

Endless and Daily

Endless runs as long as you do. Daily is built from a shared date seed, so every player gets the same run on a given day. Records are stored on your device and there is no online leaderboard.

Colors and coins

You earn coins by playing. Spend them on the Colors screen to unlock new palettes for the board. Coins and unlocked palettes are stored on your device along with the rest of your progress.

Accessibility

Every color also carries its own symbol, so pieces can be matched by shape rather than hue. Sound, haptics and Reduced motion are each switchable in Settings.

Progress and data

Where is my progress kept?

On your device. Puzzle progress, coins, unlocked palettes and arcade records are all local. There is no account to create and nothing to sign into.

I reinstalled and my progress is gone

Because progress is stored locally, deleting the app removes it. Reinstalling starts a fresh save. If your device backup includes app data, restoring that backup may bring it back.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstalling Loopmio removes the local save from your device. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
